Tracks, based in Whakatane, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Traffic Management Coordinator to join our dynamic team. If you have experience in traffic management and a passion for efficiency and safety, we want to hear from you!

Position: Traffic Management Coordinator

Location: Whakatane, New Zealand

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of traffic management plans and permits.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
  • Schedule and manage traffic control personnel and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of traffic management activities and documentation.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of traffic management strategies.
  • Provide administrative support to the traffic management team, including meeting coordination and minute-taking.
  • Handle invoicing and quoting for all TTM related jobs/projects.
  • Manage inquiries and resolve issues related to traffic management operations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of COPTTM & Submitica systems and traffic management principles and local traffic regulations is an asset.
  • Adaptability to changing TTM processes and policies.
  • Experience in RapidPlan software, or other TTM planning software.
  • Experience with MYOB accounting system (or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organisational skills with sound computer literacy.
  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet changing daily demands.
  • Ability to remain calm under time-frame pressure situations.
  • Good sense of humour and ability to deal with a wide range of people, tasks, and priorities.
  • Valid NZ Full driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa/permit.
