Tracks, based in Whakatane, is seeking an experienced and skilled Bobcat Operator to join our dynamic team. If you have a Class 2 licence and a passion for quality work, we want to hear from you!
Position: Bobcat Operator
Location: Whakatane, New Zealand
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate bobcat (Skidsteer/ CTL) to assist in concrete and construction projects.
- Perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and material handling.
- Conduct pre-start checks on machinery and ensure it is maintained in excellent condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols, company policies and procedures at all times.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist with site hazard assessments and implement control measures as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a bobcat.
- Valid Class 2 driver’s licence.
- Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers (WTR) endorsement.
- Strong understanding of safety practices in construction environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa/permit.
